Amway Back In The U.S. - Quixtar On The Way Out
In 1999 the Alticor Corporation launched a new business model to replace the old Amway model. This company was called Quixtar and was said to have been launched to coincide with taking this business online. But it had widely reported and speculated at the time it was done in an effort to curb the stigma associated with the Amway brand.While there were some nice changes and product additions to the Quixtar model, it was still the same business plan, but worse yet, the same business leaders in the Amway Motivational Organizations.
