I was about to post an update with the new information based on the Press Releases ibofightback posted, then realized that they are not in english. How are we to know what they really say?

It’s amazing how poor journalism is these days. These reports out of Poland are wrong on many levels. Just for a start, the film wasn’t blocked by Amway either now or in 1989. It was private individuals in the film who sued to block it for libel. The court agreed with them and blocked it, it has nothing to do with Amway.
