I don’t have any real update about Brad Wolgamott other than to say that my wife and I are praying for Brad, Leslie and their children.
It will be interesting to see where Brad lands after leaving World Wide Dream Builders. We can assume that he is leaving Amway Global as well.
Brad Wolgamott was one of WWDB’s most dynamic speakers. Right up there with Dave Severn in my opinion.
at least the line of sponsorship is consistent (double life).
Greg Duncan always talked about being single minded. Looks like his single mind was a double mind (real estate investing, XS, other business ventures).. Greg you are morally bankrupt..
No matter how much money you make and how many lives you touch we are still here living life on planet earth. No one is faultless and Brad Wolgamott is no exception.
There would be no reason for you to use his failure in marriage as an excuse for you to fail yourself. Everyone loves you when you’re at the top and everyone loves to hate when you fall.
I would agree with WWDBKevin. This type of thing is no excuse to fail. WWDB has much bigger issues like the fact that they aren’t breaking enough diamonds!
As someone that was active before in WWDB (I left 1 year ago), I cna say that Amway is a phenomenal business that has produced ALOT of money for me, but the key was the association in WWDB. And people can speculate all they want about why people leave (divorce-and the reasons why, health challenges, dreams change, 1/2 of an effort and expect results) But I have been gone for a year, and what I learned in my time, is why I am a better person today (not perfect though)
There are so many leaders in life from Presidents to military leaders to huge religious leaders that did phenomenal things for others, but had some weaknesses of their own – go read your Bible. Their faults don’t erase or negate the positive things they accomplished or did for others. It’s ridiculous to say, “that person really helped me change my life” and then when they make a mistake, or fall into temptation, to say “well, I guess they didn’t because I guess they aren’t perfect.” Come on, should we put your life under a microscope? Perfection isn’t a requirement to be a preacher, right? Or there wouldn’t be any. I love Brad Wolgamott and he’s just as heartbroken as anyone. I have the voicemail saved that he sent out where he says he’s sorry to all of WWDB and then says goodbye. When was the last time someone screwed up and then admits it to the world and steps down. He certainly could have done it in a less respectable way. His impact will echo on forever. I’ve been in the biz for 20 years and seen plenty and made plenty of money, so take this for what it’s worth, and stop judging. You may need some compassion and understanding from your peers one day.
He is an amazing man. Don’t judge him for anything. People make mistakes. His inspiring words still move me in building the business. Leslie will just help keep it going for me. Be strong!
People that criticize anyone in World Wide likely quit and are bitter. Check your facts from a reliable source, not from another bitter quitter.
That’s funny. I am a WWDB “quitter” who earned a multiple six figure income his year and helped 22 people in my downline earn BMW’s. This is nothing against the people in WWDB, they are good people, but when someone says that WWDB/Amway is the best business out there, they simply have not looked at what is out there.
this question is for ty tribble… FYI: WWDB/Amway is the best business out there! If there is something out there that can touch their compensation plan and the WWDB system that helps give hope to marriages, friendships, life, etc. than for Pete’s sake what business is that???? I’d like to know??? and please lay out the facts because if you could show me something BETTER, I’d drop my amway business like a bad habit!
WWDB is operating as a dinosaur. They have not had any real growth in years.

253ish… actually, Amway has one of the very worst compensation plans in the entire industry. That is why the tools business is so integral to the diamonds (and even directs, most of whom barely break even when you factor in business expenses.) If you do a volume study of some other companies, such as USANA, Monavie, or Joe’s Widget Factory, you will understand that Amway’s system sucks.
I am just finding out all this info, as a IBO downline in the Wolgamott business I am saddened by the news. We haven’t been actively building the business but were platinums. Brad and leslie will always have my support. He was and always will be an emotonal speaker and also human. People mak mistakes and you will pay for decisions. I pray for him and Leslie and there 4 children.
I also met Brad Wolgamott several times and listened to several of their tapes – rallys and seminars – and heard them speak at a few FED’s. Wolgs was always one of my favorite speakers. He seemed to be pretty genuine, except for when he tried to be too funny (remember the lame BART/DART? Fresno Are Rapid Transit-FART joke he tried to tell?) or have too much bad ass attitude, which really didn’t suit him. He really is a likeable guy. I have followed him over the years, even after leaving the business, and a google search could find him on the board of some organization or on a list of donors for something. Life happens to the best of us, and I understand that. But, the irony of so many diamond divorces, so many diamonds that no longer qualify or have left Amway for greener pastures, or emerald and diamond bankruptcies and foreclosures is too much to overlook. These people pretended that, if you went diamond, “it” wouldn’t stink anymore and all of life’s problems would magically disappear because of a large paycheck. And we were all taught to edify upline so darned much that, after awhile, we, too, thought they walked on water. I have been in many emerald and diamonds and higher homes and have seen the inside story. They are people, just like the rest of us. They have problems, sometimes bratty kids, and bills to pay. From my experience, almost everyone is carrying one or more mortgages, car payments, and credit card bills. The business is a full time job for them, although they do have a bit more time in the middle of the afternoon than most of us. The attrition rate is so high that they are running to stand still. They are simply working a different business than the rest of us, but that business isn’t all that it is cracked up to be, and parts of it are downright dishonest in my humble opinion. And worse, many of these people have believed their own press and think they are better than us J O B’ers. The arrogance is mindblowing. Not for all of them, but for the majority. I feel bad for Brad and Leslie and their kids. I really do. Divorce sucks. But when you live in the spotlight and are built up to be superhuman through a cult-like edification/deification, the fall can be hard and the fall-out harder. And then to have WWDB lie about it, and then only say they are going on different paths (or whatever that tripe was), just reinforces the perception that Amway and WWDB, and most every other group, simply isn’t portraying a realistic image of the business. I am self employed, and I would take my business over the Amway business any day of the week.
how do we get a copy of the last message that Brad Wolgamott sent out.. My upline emerald Scott harimoto did not send that message out. I guess he tried to hide it..

if it helps so many marriages and diamond life style is great than why do so many diamond wifes or husbands SPLIT or why do many diamonds leave the business for other businesses….

Believe it or not this is actually Brad Wolgamott. you will be able to tell by my poor spelling and punctuation. I would like to thank all of you that have said so many kind words about me and my family. I read every one of these posts and really cant argue with too many of them. I love the fact that we can all say what we need to say and let it be known how we feel so i thought i would take the time to do the same. I spent nearly 25 years of my life in WWDB and would like you all to know that it was an incredible experience and amentirely grateful for everything they did for me in my life. Theres no telling what my life would be like if not for the mentorship of Brad Duncan, Greg Duncan, Dave Severn, Terry Woodhead and Ron puryear. These are all truly great men and i will be eternally thankful for them.
My marriage to Leslie was also 25 wonderful years that blessed us with 4 incredible children. We met in High School and shared over 30 years together. It is very unfortunate that our marriage has ended this way but i want to set the record straight that this had nothing to do with WWDB or its teaching. Our lives grew apart and i truly wish it hadnt happened. But now here we are and a new life is beginning for both of us. i would appreciate your prayers and love for leslie, our children and myself.
LIke everything in this world we are not perfect and should never be thought of as anything even close. We all have our flaws and have to accept responsibility for all of our actions. The Amway business is an incredible business and i intend to continue forward with it. Whether its the best or not, I am sure, is very debatable. does that really matter? It is clearly a great business with over 8 billion in global sales and has helped thousands of business’. There are many great business’ in the world and I wish you all success in whatever you choose to be passionate about. World Wide Dream Builders is an incredible organization that has also helped thousands of people. some have failed and some have not, just like any other business in the world! I feel blessed to have so many friends and so much more life to live! thank you.

Unbelievable. “Our lives grew apart”? Who doesn’t ‘grow apart’? There is no such thing as a family that doesn’t grow apart over a lifetime. It’s part of the ebb and flow of ALL lifelong relationships. People grow apart and then they grow together. Sometimes a lot, sometimes a little. Sometimes over a matter of weeks, sometimes years and even decades. You never ‘grew apart’ from your parents as you were growing up? Hmmm. Maybe they should have disowned you then so they could get a different son. I am so sick of parents feeling justified in inflicting permanent pain and damage on their innocent children for stupid, selfish reasons. I would rather die (literally) and live in constant pain for the rest of my life before I would ever devastate my children with a divorce for reasons like “grew apart” or “stopped loving him/her” or “found someone else”. SICK. How disgustingly short-sighted and selfish. How can people be your fans and watch you willingly cause your children so much anguish? You’re no man. You are an egotistical, narcissistic, self-centered spoiled brat. How dare you cause your dear family so much pain? You are shattering your kids’ worlds and you probably won’t even allow yourself to really ‘go there’ because it would cause you too much pain. Go ahead…convince yourself that your kids will be ok. They won’t be. You never experienced the devastation of divorce with your own parents. I wish you had because then (maybe) you would do anything to spare your own kids. GROW UP. SAVE YOUR FAMILY. Curious…is all the hype about ‘being free’ and ‘changing the world’ working to fool you about the destruction you caused your own family? Do you think anyone believes it’s working for you? If you want to change the world, start with your own family. You can’t destroy your family and ‘fix things for yourself’ with a bunch of hype aimed at trying to make you look good. If you spent as much time ‘fanning your family’ as you spent ‘fanning your fake fans’, your life would be right. The pain is still there isn’t it? No matter how much you try to distract yourself, it’s not going away. Do the right thing. You really want to make a difference in this world? Then do what the world NEVER does…Change the world by saving your family. Or is that an impossible task for you? You know what you should do. You will never be able to completely hide from that.
Curious, there is no reason to judge…Sometimes things don’t work out…People make mistakes. I’m sure they tried very hard to make it work…Stop judging somebody who has done incredible things in people’s lives. You’re just another person with an inaccurate opinion about somebody whom you know nothing about….Go on and live your life and stop worrying about other people’s personal lives.

GEEEEEZE I personally have been around brad both in the business and socially. I have never met a guy who says one thing and does another so frequently and obviously, if you knew both sides you would not be in business anymore. he knows it yet still does it, Leslie dumped his ass for a reason and we all know why and for what it really is… She deserves SO MUCH MORE and BETTER… I hope she takes him to the cleaners, the stuff he has done over the years.. OMG… Some of you people really drank the coolaid. The business does do some good, but not how they promote it.

People are so strapped to their business in wwdb.. They cant even go to their friends 25th wedding anniversary if there is a function.. they are made to feel guilty and you will feel scared that your downline will judge you for being non-committed…

No one really knows anyone. People change, life changes and I am not certain as to why everyone makes a huge deal over Brad and Leslie’s changes. Money does not save or restore anything of true significance in this life. It just makes you more accountable. Wake up world, wake up professionals! Open your eyes! All the wealth of this world does not save a dam thing!
Hello everyone I hope you are all doing well. Leslie and I have decided to maintain and build our business together as friends. Leslie is continuing to work with WWG and I am building the business as an independent. For all of you who are being so critical, not once have I ever heard a diamond in Worldwide Dreambuilders claim to be super human or better than anyone else. In fact it is quite the opposite. Worldwide diamonds are constantly saying that they are nothing special, human just like the rest of us. If you put people up on a pedestal you Will be let down because no matter how hard we try, people are not perfect. And here is a nice fact for you; within this organization that many of you are being so critical of, the divorce rate is less than 1% compared to our national rate the ranges anywhere from 60% all the way up to the low 80′s. Get your facts people and quit being so judgemental of other people! I am sure you are not perfect either!

Is this Global Diabolic Corporation STILL deluding people in 2010 given the sheer amount of facts, statistics, negative feedback and exposure. My Goodness! I was peripherally involved in the 90′s until the real picture emerged. It is one of loss, disillusionment, overwhelming odds against and systematic deceit.
Amway is a fascinating study into cult assimilation, mass psycholgy, systemic control and self-perpetuating deceit across decades. I refer, of course, to the Motivational Groups who “associate” with Amway Corporation in a synergistic/symbiotic relationship that moves tons of “system tools” and Amway product via self-consumption.
Sometimes I despair. I really do….Or to quote from Blazing Saddles…I am depressed!
